Patch 3.1.1 gives Diablo 4 Season 14 a much-needed nudge, but it does not magically turn Mythic hunting into a shopping trip. Fragment costs are lower, broken loot sources work again, and Rogue players still have plenty to do. If you are checking the wider Diablo 4 Items pool before your next upgrade, the real story is simple: more chances help, but control still matters.

More Mythic Attempts, Same Big QuestionT
he Horadric Cube now asks for four Pandemonium Fragments instead of five. That sounds small. It is not. Twenty Fragments now fund five attempts rather than four, and the Corrupted Reaper can add up to two more depending on Torment level.
The repeatable Glints of Hope reward also guarantees a Fragment, while high-Torment Deathtoll Chambers guarantee at least one Superior Lair Key. The seasonal loop feels less like waiting for one lucky break and more like steady work with a visible payoff.

What the New Farming Loop Looks Like
The Meta: Run the highest Torment tier you can clear quickly, collect Superior Lair Keys, then spend them on the Corrupted Reaper for Mythic chances and Fragment income.
The Snag: A cheaper recipe still rolls from a huge Mythic pool, so five attempts can easily produce five items that miss your build completely.
The Fix: Pair boss farming with Glints of Hope rewards, keep every useful Unique, and treat each failed roll as progress toward another attempt.
Reality check: more rolls feel better, sure, but nobody wants a faster treadmill when the destination is still hidden behind pure luck.

Why the Ring of Starless Skies Chase Still Hurts
Ring of Starless Skies is easier to pursue indirectly because Lair Boss Mythic drops are fixed and natural Mythics have a higher Iconic chance. Still, the patch does not create a guaranteed ring farm. The Corrupted Reaper remains the best practical target, yet every run can still hand you another Mythic instead.
The buzz on Discord: Players are happy that the loot table works again, but most still want a clearer way to chase one exact Mythic without burning through hours of random attempts.

Rain of Arrows Keeps Its Place
Cold Rain of Arrows remains one of the Rogue's strongest endgame options. It clears packed rooms, rewards smart positioning, and benefits from mobility. The patch removes an unintended Shadow Clone interaction with Shrine effects, not the normal damage loop, so the build survives intact.

Red Flag: Do not build the setup around a Mythic drop. Get cooldown flow, defense, movement, and damage between Ultimate casts working first; Ring of Starless Skies should improve the engine, not be the engine.

Where Season 14 Goes From Here
Patch 3.1.1 makes the season healthier, especially for players who farm consistently instead of chasing one lucky screenshot. The Rogue meta shows how good choice can feel when several builds work. Mythics need that same sense of direction. Until then, use the improved loop, spend Fragments carefully, and check Diablo 4 Items buy options naturally before committing to a long grind.
